At that time I started to learn a different accent from my own &#8211; from my city of birth &#8211; in order to arrive in S\u00e3o Paulo trying to look as little as possible as someone who was not from &#8220;there&#8221;. And then I begun to learn what I believed was the <em>paulistan<\/em> accent of S\u00e3o Paulo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Unknowingly I was learning the<em> Mineiros<\/em>\u00a0accent spoken in<em> Belo Horizonte<\/em>. So, it was all in vain, and I only really got used to the S\u00e3o Paulo accent\u00a0years later.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Visiting websites and blogs of people who had the experience of moving to Canada, I found<a title=\"this\" href=\"http:\/\/myideaofheaven.wordpress.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"> this<\/a> in particular; a special video from a girl that I am presenting here now:<\/p>\n<p><center><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/3UgpfSp2t6k\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"420\" height=\"315\"><\/iframe><\/center><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><em>&#8220;21 Accents&#8221;<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0is a video in which the young girl <em>Amy Walker <\/em>taught\u00a0how to learn any of the main accents in the world &#8211; or at least what she believes to be the most important! Naquele tempo comecei a treinar um sotaque diferente do meu, da minha cidade de nascen\u00e7a, para poder chegar em S\u00e3o Paulo tentando parecer o m\u00ednimo poss\u00edvel algu\u00e9m que fosse &#8220;dali&#8221;. E assim, treinei o que acreditava ser o sotaque paulistano, mal sabendo que no fim eu acabei treinando foi como os Mineiros de Belo Horizonte falavam.
