
HOGWARTS LEGACY
As a Lead Designer at Studio Gobo (in co-development with WB Games), I led the team responsible for the Room of Requirement, a cornerstone of the game’s Nurturing pillar.
This expansive feature served as the primary hub for player expression and progression, integrating several high-impact systems including Transfiguration, Herbology, Potioneering, Biome and Space Progression, and the Care of Magical Beasts.
In this role, I led a dedicated group of designers across these diverse features, acting as the primary point of contact and strategic bridge to our partners at Avalanche Software.
Beyond team leadership, I was deeply involved in the game's systems design, documenting the low-level specifications for the Nurturing systems and architecting the underlying economy. It was very important that all systems taking place inside the Room of Requirement were properly interconnected, and provided meaningful sources and sinks for the wider game.
My work ensured the Room of Requirement functioned as a living, convincing and evolving space that players could grow and customize throughout their journey, and was received positively by the community on release.
